MULCH INSTALLATION
Mulch is like the icing on a cake. Once all the weeding, planting and edging has been done, the finishing touch is mulch. Mulch helps retain moisture, keep plant roots cool, minimize the return of weeds and overall give that beautifully maintained appearance that all landscapes deserve. A fresh 1½”-2” layer of our dyed brown hardwood mulch will be applied evenly on all landscape beds and trees once per year.
SHRUB PRUNING
All shrubs will be professionally trimmed and shaped to maintain the health of the plant and an attractive appearance. All clippings will be gathered and hauled away.
ANNUAL COLOR
Annual flowers (Spring/Fall) will be installed to enhance the indicated area.
LANDSCAPE BED MAINTENANCE
Landscape beds will be inspected every 2–3 weeks during the growing season. Unwanted vegetation will be controlled by manually pulling weeds and/or applying herbicides as needed to maintain a clean, well-maintained appearance.
PERIMETER PEST CONTROL
The perimeter of the house will be sprayed twice a year with an insecticide to help detour ants, carpenter ants, termites, fleas, ticks, any other nuisance insects all year long.
TREE & SHRUB TREATMENT
All trees and shrubs that are susceptible to insect injury will be treated with a broad-spectrum insecticide once per year.
DEEP ROOT FEEDING
Deep root feeding is an injection of fertilizer into the drop lines of trees and shrubs. This service is performed in the late fall and lasts a full year. Deep root feeding promotes strong root development
and discourages diseases.
GENERAL CLEANUP (Shrub & Small Tree Removal)
Unwanted vegetation will be removed from tree lines and around sheds. Low hanging branches will also be trimmed to optimize the growth of grass under trees, improve visibility, and control the growth onto the sides of buildings.
